Flattery Will Get You Far

I was sitting in a coffee shop one day, just reading a paper and I noticed that this guy who was sitting nearby kept looking at me. I was a little annoyed. Finally I asked him if I knew him. He said that we had shared a flight a month ago and remembered me because I he thought I was “striking.” Every girl likes a good compliment, but I had never heard that one before. Did I end up going out with him? Hell yeah.
