What She Says:
What do you think of this dress (article of clothing)? Wrong Answers: It looks better on my mom. It would look better on the floor. |
|
What She Means:
Women want to please men. We want to wear what you find sexy. So, if a girl drags you out shopping with her or asks you what you think when she's going though her closet. . .be honest. This is one of your few chances to tell her the truth. The only caveat is if you think her ass looks like a malted milk ball in some dress, don’t be a jerk about it. If you don’t like something, tell her it looks “nice” but she looks hotter in that other thing. |

I like the last thing you said, " The only caveat is if you think her ass looks like a malted milk ball in some dress, don’t be a jerk about it. If you don’t like something, tell her it looks “nice” but she looks hotter in that other thing. "
In other words say this " It looks nice but, i prefer you naked"
Posted by: at September 20, 2005 09:27 PMIf a girl asks me my opinion of clothing, she had better be ready for a sincere answer. I won't be cruel, but I will be honest. But then, I wouldn't try to get with a woman who is tripping about the size of her butt. She thinks her butt is too big, then instead of whining about it for months or years why not do something about it? It may not be easy, but it isn't impossible. That, or learn to love her big butt.
"The only caveat is if you think her ass looks like a malted milk ball in some dress, don’t be a jerk about it. If you don’t like something, tell her it looks “nice” but she looks hotter in that other thing."
Just say you don't care that much for it. You don't have to say *why* you don't like it. Blame it on the outfit itself, not her ass.
The point is to find out what you like, isn't it?
If you just must do the "damn with faint praise" thing, be even more faint with something like "it's okay, I guess". Or shrug.

Posted by: Patriarchal Oppressor at March 14, 2006 12:58 PMif you don't like it, just tell her it's "not the most flattering" (in comparison to...) or whatever. girls do this with each other, too
Posted by: ThatOneGirl at April 17, 2006 12:08 PMWhen my wife and I got together almost 12 yrs ago I told her to avoid this question. I told her if she ever asked any of the does this dress make my ass look big questions, I would not tell her the dress made her ass look big, but that it was the fat on her ass that made her ass look big. She has never asked any of these ridiculous questions.
