She wants to know what’s on your mind. Yeesh. Why the hell would a woman want to know a thing like that? Well, it might mean she’s not yet comfortable with being together with you, in silence, and is afraid things are getting boring. Let her know you were just wallowing in her beauty or reflecting on how much you enjoy her company. That’s good stuff. Otherwise, it’s great if you can be honest and upfront about what you’re pondering. Women like it when you dig down deep, open up and communicate. Even if you’re thinking about how tasty a cold, frosty beer and flame-broiled brat would be about now, chances are she’ll find it amusing what men think about. The only way you can really screw this one up is if your answer is “nothing.” First, she’ll be insulted that you don’t want to share. Then, since women have active imaginations, she’ll assume the worst. . .your cheating on her, with her sister, and her cousin – AT THE SAME TIME. If you’re really not thinking about anything in particular, please make something up and spare us the terror of a woman’s unbridled imagination.

And if you say "Nothing", some will take your word for it. The question is, do you REALLY want her to think your brain is like a TV on the "snow channel"? Probaly not.

I find that when she asks me that it means i am either zoning out. I am busy and really trying to ignore her to think of whatever i am working on/thinking about. I am not paying enough attention to her (I know i should pay more but football is on).

I dont mind if we are just quitely together but when she asks me this when it is obvious i am doing something or falling asleep it is just annoying.

Really, this just shows how insecure she feels, and it's rare that she actually is interested in knowing the answer. I have trouble with this one myself, so I have to remember, "If he wanted you to know, he'd say so." It doesn't help to pry.

ok last week i was spending the night with this guy, no im not a slut, we just made out. but like i was laying there and he was rubbing my back and then he asked me "what are you thinking right now?" and i was like DUDE, aren't only women supposed to ask that?? i was slightly shocked and turned off by, so i just laughed and said "i dont know!!" just say that guys.
