Fashion Dont's

Worried that what you wear might affect your ability to score a girl? I hate to break the bad news – dress does matter! Fashion may not be on the top of a lady’s list, but being well-dressed could help you get ahead of the pack. Here are some simple fashion don’ts to help you look your best and score more.

1. No Long Nails. Nobody expects you to get a manicure, but guys with long, jagged or dirty nails ain’t sticking their hands anywhere special anytime soon. Ya dig?
2. No Earrings. Besides the inability to jump high and dance well, white boys can’t pull off earrings. It just doesn’t look great.
3. No Chest Hair. Chest hair is good for later. But, until that time comes, braid it up and tuck it in. Women have active imaginations. When they say a few fringes poking out the top they suspect you have the body of an ape. Maybe you do, but when do you want her to find out – before or after you have all your clothes off?

4. No Frosted Tips. It’s not really “in” anymore. Plus, there is something very young and surfer about frosties. Highlights are a different story. Unlike females, there aren’t many ways guys can up their looks factor. But, a few well-placed highlights at a nice salon can make the difference between eh and oh!
5. No Open Toed Sandals. Guys, have you looked at your feet lately? They are NOT a selling point. Do us a favor and cover them up so we can focus on a different feature. Crocs and Birkenstocks are an absolute no-no. Certain flip-flops are OK on a hot summer day – just try and cover as much ground as possible.
6. No Tommy Bahama. If you’re not in college any and all TB attire should be banned from your closet. In general, avoid flowers and patterns of any sort. It’s a little fruity. Do you want a girl to look at you and think, “my, he looks like a big, hairy fruit.”
7. No Baseball Caps. When watching sports or lounging in a dive bar, hats are fine. If you’re out on a date or trying to pick up something in a club, hats are not your friend.
8. No Long Hair, Pony Tails or Mullets.Unless you’re Bono, the rule of thumb is the longer the hair, the less often you get laid. The clean, well-groomed look is in – that is, unless you’re a professional rockstar.
9. No Hooded Sweatshirts. Like the baseball hats, there are a time and a place for hoodies and a date ain’t one of them.
10. No Tucking. With the exception of a girl’s hand, there should be nothing down your pants. Un-tuck all Tshirts, long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts – the exception to this rule is business attire.

I actually prefer men who are brave enough to wear open toed sandals. I think it's sexy (of course if the man is clean and well-groomed :) )
